At first I thought the bottoms were too large. At 61 my tummy isn't as flat as it used to be and I wanted a bottom to camouflage it a little but being only 5'2 the bottoms pulled all the way up just wasn't flattering. The option that worked best for me was folding down the top a little. This covered enough and also showed enough so my torso didn't look too short. The M size wound up working great. I think size S might have been too tight and would have given me "love handles". I'm 110 lbs and usually wear a 4 or 6 but at my age things aren't where they used to.
