Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies
We and our providers and advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for store functionality, preferences, analytics, advertising, and measurement.
These technologies may collect identifiers, IP addresses, device information, pages and products viewed, cart and purchase activity, and interactions with our website, emails, and advertisements. Information may be transmitted through your browser or through integrations between our service providers and advertising platforms.
Our store uses services from Shopify and providers such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Microsoft Advertising, Klaviyo, and Triple Whale for advertising, communications, analytics, or measurement, depending on the service.
We previously used Microsoft Clarity for behavioral analytics, heatmaps, and session replay, and uninstalled the Clarity app on October 6, 2026. Information collected before that change remains subject to applicable retention obligations and privacy rights.
Cookie choices: Where our cookie banner is displayed, you can accept or decline optional categories or use “Manage preferences” to select your choices. Necessary technologies support functions such as shopping carts, security, and checkout.
Sale, sharing, and advertising choices: Use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our website footer to access our data-sharing opt-out page. This is separate from choosing individual cookie categories.
You can also control cookies through your browser. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect store functionality and may remove previously saved preferences. Browser cookie settings alone do not necessarily stop information sharing through other technologies.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this policy:
-
Service providers: Shopify and providers supporting payments, hosting, IT, security, customer support, communications, analytics, fulfillment, shipping, and returns.

Public reviews and other content you choose to post publicly may be visible to other people.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Disclosing information to advertising partners can constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or processing for targeted advertising, under state privacy laws, even when no money changes hands.
During the preceding 12 months, we have collected and disclosed personal information within the categories described in this policy for the purposes described above. Our advertising and marketing disclosures have included:
-
Identifiers: Contact details and online or device identifiers.
-
Commercial information: Shopping activity, purchase records, and related transaction information.

Recipients of these advertising disclosures include advertising networks, social platforms, and business and marketing partners. How to Opt Out
We make our data-sharing opt-out page available to visitors throughout the United States. Select “Your Privacy Choices”in our website footer and follow the instructions.
You can submit a browser-level opt-out without creating an account or providing an email address. The page also offers an optional account-level request using your email address.
A browser-level choice applies to the browser and device used to submit it. You may need to repeat your choice on other browsers or devices or after clearing browser data. You can also email shop@annecole.com for assistance with an opt-out request.
Opting out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising does not stop information processing necessary to fulfill orders, provide requested services, maintain security, or comply with law.
Global Privacy Control
We recognize Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) as an opt-out preference signal for sale, sharing, and targeted advertising as required by applicable law. The signal applies to the browser and device sending it. When we can associate the signal with an identified customer, we apply it more broadly as required by applicable law.
Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Other than GPC and other signals we are legally required to honor, we do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Our Relationship with Shopify
Shopify hosts our store and processes personal information to provide and improve the Services.
We also use Shopify enhanced features that incorporate information about your interactions with our store together with interactions with other merchants and Shopify. Shopify uses this information to provide enhanced services, including personalization and advertising-related features.
For these purposes, Shopify is responsible for its processing of personal information and for responding to requests concerning that processing. These activities remain subject to applicable privacy choices.
You can learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and exercise rights concerning Shopify’s processing through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Requests about Anne Cole’s own records should be sent to shop@annecole.com.

-
Account and contact information: The time needed to maintain an account, provide requested services, and meet related recordkeeping obligations.

Customer service communications: The time needed to resolve inquiries, maintain appropriate support records, and address related disputes.
