Swimsuit Size Guide

Finding the perfect swimsuit can be difficult, especially when shopping for swimwear online. Getting the perfect fit from your new swimsuit often comes down to understanding your measurements. With that in mind, we decided to take out as much of the guesswork as possible by creating a swimsuit size chart to help you get the best size and fit as you shop.

Our flattering and stylish swimsuits, including tankinis, swim dresses, and maillot swimsuits, come in a gorgeous range of sizes and are available in dozens of colors and patterns. Anne Cole swimsuits range from classic one piece swimsuits to two piece bikini tops and swim bottoms that can be mixed and matched to create your unique summer look. How do you determine your swimsuit size?

Choosing the right swimsuit size is the key to a comfortable and flattering fit. The best way to determine your swimsuit size is to measure yourself with a measuring tape.

Start by measuring your torso, bust, waist, and hips. For your torso, start the tape at your shoulder, measure down across the fullest part of your bust, between your legs and back up to your shoulders.

For your bust measurement, wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust and ensure it is parallel to the ground.

For your waist measurement, measure the narrowest part of your waist.

For your hips measurement, measure the widest part of your hips, with your heels put together. Once you have these measurements, refer to the size chart above to determine your size.

How do you know what size swimsuit to buy online?

Choosing the right swimsuit size is crucial to ensure a comfortable and flattering fit. The best way to determine your swimsuit size is to measure yourself with a measuring tape. Start by measuring your bust, waist, and hips. For your bust measurement, wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust and ensure it is parallel to the ground. For your waist measurement, measure the narrowest part of your waist. For your hips measurement, measure the widest part of your hips. Once you have these measurements, refer to the size chart provided by the swimsuit brand you are interested in to determine your size.

Using Our Swimsuit Size Guide: How do you size a one piece swimsuit?

There are several considerations when sizing a one piece swimsuit for your fit. To find the best fit, you'll need to use a tape measure to take your body measurements, including your hip measurement, natural waistline, bust measurement, and torso.

After taking your body measurements, use the swimsuit size chart to determine corresponding measurements to your swimsuit size. The swimsuit size chart is used to determine both the numeric and alpha sizes for your measurements.

If you are still uncertain about your size or are in between sizes, we recommend choosing a size up.

Anne Cole's one piece swimsuits are made to be flattering to a woman's natural curves, offering a sleek style that's comfortable to wear while providing practical support.

How do you measure your torso for a one piece swimsuit?

To measure your torso for a one-piece swimsuit, you'll need to use a soft measuring tape that you can wrap around your body. The torso is the length of your body, from your shoulders to the top of your hips.

First, take the measuring tape and begin your measurement from the top of your shoulders, then measure vertically downwards towards your bust, then between your legs, and back up to your shoulders. This will be your torso measurement. You can use this measurement to determine which swimsuit size will fit you best.

Should you buy a swimsuit a size bigger? Should you size up or down in swimsuits?

Instead of buying a larger or smaller swimsuit, you can find the best fit using a measuring tape to take your body measurements to use the size guide. It's hard to know whether a swimsuit fits if you don't know your measurements, and if you size up, it does not guarantee that the larger size will fit. If you size down, it may not be a comfortable fit for you.

Please look at the swimsuit size chart after measuring yourself to make sure you choose the right one. However, if you are still uncertain about your size or are in between sizes, we recommend choosing a size up.

To determine your swimsuit size, first measure your bust, hips, waist, and torso. Then use the chart above to convert these measurements to find your standard size.

Finding the perfect swimsuit size is just as important as the swimsuit itself. We call it the magic fit: when a swimsuit in the right size looks great on you, the fabric works with your body to make you look your best.

How do you know if a swimsuit is too small?

One way to determine if a swimsuit is too small on you is by tucking a few fingers under your swim top's straps. If the strap is too tight for you to tuck two fingers, then your swimsuit or bikini top may be too small. When a swimsuit is tight in the shoulders, it's a good indicator that it is already too small.
